Seneca Falls awarded $812,725 Transportation Enhancement Grant
The Village of Seneca Falls has been awarded an $812,725 Transportation Enhancement Program Grant. The TEP project will improve safety and ease the flow of pedestrian and bicycle traffic from surrounding neighborhoods into and through the Seneca Falls Village Historic District. Grant funds will be used to provide traffic amenities, install historic pavers, lighting, benches, and bicycle racks that will improve the appearance of the business district of the Village along Fall Street to the Seneca-Cayuga Canal overlooking Van Cleef Lake. The grant was secured by J. O'Connell & Associates, a grant writing and consulting firm located in Clarence, New York.
