Town of East Bloomfield Awarded $110K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of East Bloomfield was awarded $110,000 to make improvements to their Veteran’s Park.

This funding was secured through the State and Municipal Facilities Program.

 

Town of Somers Awarded $15K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Somers was awarded $15,000 for removal of invasive species in a specified area of Angle Fly Preserve and replanting of native plants.

This funding was secured through NYS Department of Environmental Conservation – Invasive Species Rapid Response and Control Grant Program.

Town of Whitestown Awarded $186K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Whitestown was awarded $186,200 for replacement of two packer trucks used in their green waste recycling program.

This funding was secured through NYS Department of Environmental Conservation – Municipal Waste Reduction and Recycling (MWRR) Program.

 

$128,858 in NYS Archives Awards

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the following clients received grant funding through the New York State Archives – Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF) Program:

Town of Orchard Park  ~  $61,240  for records inventory and minor remodeling;

Franklinville CSD  ~  $42,516  implementation of document conversion and access project;

Town of East Bloomfield  ~  $25,102  reorganization of records into fire resistant cabinets.       

The New York State Archives offers grant awards to support, promote and recognize sound archival and records management practices, as well as, to encourage creative and valuable uses of archival records.

Medaille College Awarded $1.2 M

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services Medaille College was awarded a $1.2 Million Upward Bound Math Science Grant paid out at $257,500 per year for five years. Upward Bound is designed to assist high school students from low-income families and from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree in completing their secondary education and enrolling in and graduating from institutions of postsecondary education.

This funding was secured through the United States Department of Education.

Village of Brockport Awarded $11K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services Village of Brockport was awarded $11,995.56 to install a clean energy recharging station.

This funding was secured through NYS Department of Environmental Conservation – Zero Emissions Infrastructure Program.

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the following clients received grant funding through the New York State Justice Court Assistance Program:

Town of East Bloomfield  ~  $15,000 toward existing court renovations;

Town of Whitestown  ~  $15,000 toward existing court renovations;

Town of Orchard Park  ~  $9,615 toward relocation and replacement of the court reception window;

Town of Seneca Falls  ~  $1,496 to purchase a new copier for the courtroom;

Village of Brockport  ~  $954.49 to purchase an external hard drive to back-up court files;

Town of Urbana  ~  $814.99 to purchase a new copier and  mailbox for the courtroom.

NYS JCAP grants provide for improvements of courts through a variety of projects – office and security equipment, furniture upgrades, and renovations.
