J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of East Bloomfield was awarded $7,500 to construct a full-sized half basketball court in Veteran’s Park.

This funding was secured through the Greater Rochester Health Foundation.

Village of Albion Awarded $50K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Village of Albion was awarded $50,000 to install new playground equipment at Bullard Park. The playground will include slides, swings, decks, climbing stairs, climbing ropes, canopies, and be handicap accessible.

This funding was secured through the State and Municipal Facilities Capital Program.

Village of Brockport Awarded $50K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Village of Brockport was awarded $50,000 to construct a new boathouse at Corbett Park. This project will add to the waterfront revitalization currently in progress on the north shore of the Erie Canal in the Village.

This funding was secured through the State and Municipal Facilities Program.

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services grant funding in the amount of $1,148,237 was secured in the NYS Consolidated Funding Application – Regional Economic Development Council Initiative.

Client Awards:

Town of Urbana was awarded $410,000 for Phase I Redevelopment of Champlin Beach through Empire State Development.

Town of Somerset was awarded a $225,000 Local Government Efficiency Grant through the NYS Department of State.

Buffalo Religious Arts Center was awarded $202,237 for Historic Preservation of Former Church Building through the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.

Village of Lancaster was awarded $100,000 for a Sanitary Sewer Overflow Engineering Study through the DEC/EFC Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Planning Grant Program.

Village of Sloan was awarded $100,000 for a Sanitary Sewer Overflow Engineering Study through the DEC/EFC Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Planning Grant Program.

Village of Brockport was awarded $75,000 for Phase I of the Brockport Rowing and Canal Development Project through the NYS Canal Corporation

Orleans County was awarded a $36,000 Local Government Efficiency Grant through the NYS Department of State.

TAP Awards $2.8 Million

J. O’Connell & Associates is pleased to announce that through our services grant funding was awarded to the Town of Seneca Falls, Village of Lancaster and Town of Grand Island through the NYS DOT TAP Program which promotes bicycle, pedestrian and multi-use path transportation projects. 

Town of Seneca Falls: Cady Stanton Elementary Safe Routes to Schools $889,175

Village of Lancaster: Lancaster Transportation Alternatives Project $328,382

Town of Grand Island – NYSP:  West Niagara River Trail $1,600,000

These funds are made available through the Federal Highway Administration and are administered by the State Department of Transportation to address the public’s demand for walkable and bikeable communities.

Village of Brockport Awarded $500
