This funding was secured through the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation – Municipal Waste Reduction and Recycling Program.
Town of Whitestown Awarded $186K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Whitestown was awarded $186,200 for replacement of two packer trucks used in their green waste recycling program.
This funding was secured through NYS Department of Environmental Conservation – Municipal Waste Reduction and Recycling (MWRR) Program.
Town of Gates Awarded $18K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Gates was awarded $18,313 as a 50% reimbursement for the cost of two leaf vacuums purchased for use in the Town’s Leaf Collection Program. Use of the new leaf vacuums has resulted in the Town being able to provide over 10,000 cubic yards of compost annually for free distribution to residents and for use in Town landscaping projects, parks and trails.
This funding was secured through the NYS Department of Energy Conservation – Waste Reduction & Recycling Program.
Town of Clarkson Awarded $9K

O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Clarkson was awarded $9,240 for partial reimbursement of a Wood/Brush Chipper purchased solely for recycling purposes. The use of this chipper has significantly improved the efficiency of the Town’s brush collection and recycling operations.
This funding was secured through the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation – Municipal Waste Reduction and Recycling Program.
Town of Shelter Island Awarded $76K
