J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD received two Equipment Assistance grants – $9,629 to purchase a radiant oven and $5,142 to purchase a pasta cooker for their school lunch program.
This funding was secured through the USDA Food and Nutrition Service – National School Lunch Program Equipment Assistance Grants.
Franklinville CSD Awarded $2K

This funding was secured through the Whole Kids Foundation – School Garden Grant program.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD Awarded $500

O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD was awarded $500 to purchase vegetable and flower seeds to cultivate a “Literacy Garden”. The mission of this project is to literally “plant the seeds” of garden knowledge for the next generation while encouraging literacy skills at the same time.
This funding was secured through the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation and Kids Gardening – Scotts Gro More Gardens Grant.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD Awarded $2K

O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD was awarded $2,089 to purchase Lego® Education WeDo kits to be used in elementary STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) classes, extracurricular elementary robotics classes and middle school Lego League club and competitions.
This funding was secured through Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant Program.

Franklinville CSD Awarded $1,000

O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Franklinville CSD was awarded $1,000 to enable 50 seventh grade students to participate in programs selected to complement the 7th Grade English curriculum. These programs place special emphasis on the relationship between STEM concepts and the arts (STEAM).
This funding was secured through the Arts Partners for Learning in WNY.
Buffalo Public Schools/City of Buffalo Awarded $500K

Franklinville CSD Awarded $4K

Medaille College Awarded $1.2 Million

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services Medaille College was awarded a $1,287,500 Upward Bound Math Science Grant paid out at $257,500 per year for five years. This program will provide eligible high school students access to hands-on learning activities, faculty researchers and laboratory space; as well as, exposure to and experience with a variety of well-paying local jobs in the medical and scientific fields. The Upward Bound Program, containing a comprehensive range of academic services, is designed to improve academic achievement, retention and graduation.
This funding was secured through the United States Department of Education.
