Village of Depew Police Department Awarded $8K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Village of Depew Police Department was awarded $7,315 for Police Traffic Services to address speeding and distracted driving and $1,230 for Child Passenger Safety awareness and education.

This funding was secured through the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.

Village of Depew Awarded $64K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Village of Depew was awarded $64,000 for two traffic safety improvements on George Urban Boulevard. A TAPCO Solar Overheight Warning System will be installed at a railroad bridge crossing the Boulevard with a vertical under-clearance of 11’-9”. This bridge has sustained numerous collisions over the years with trucks exceeding that height.  The second improvement is a solar-powered school zone speed limit warning system in front of the Cantalician Center Campus to alert drivers to the reduced-speed zone area.

This funding was secured through the State and Municipal Facilities Program and Senator Tim Kennedy.

Village of Spring Valley Police Department Awarded $13K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Village of Spring Valley Police Department was awarded $11,900 for their ‘Police Traffic Services’ and $1,500 for ‘Child Passenger Safety’ programs.

This funding was secured through the NYS Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.

Town of Whitestown Police Department Awarded $7K

J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that through our services the Town of Whitestown Police Department was awarded $4,000 for their ‘Police Traffic Services’ and $3,400 for ‘Child Passenger Safety’ programs.

This funding was secured through the NYS Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
